History On Demand offers access to products for history educators and history enthusiasts alike.  Our products include educational resources, digital and print media, and authentic historical memorabilia. Our educational products are presently available through TeachersPayTeachers.com, a popular website utilized by educators across the globe, and allows immediate digital download by the customer. These products, primarily utilized by teachers and students, are original creations and align with national and state history standards.  They have been field tested for classroom effectiveness.  History on Demand's digital and print media is presently available through our affiliation with Amazon.com.  Please feel free to browse our products.  We plan to expand in directions that best serve our clients’ needs and would greatly appreciate your feedback and suggestions.



            Dr. Gregg Farmer has been a public educator and curriculum specialist for nearly three decades.  In his early teaching career, Gregg taught a variety of social studies courses, including all levels of history at the secondary level. He was twice chosen as his school’s teacher of the year, and in 2000, was selected as a U.S. Department of Education Presidential Scholar’s Teacher. Gregg was a pioneer in educational technology and in 1997, received a specialist degree in Media and Instructional Technology. Beginning in 1998, Gregg helped co-found a nationally recognized high school STEM magnet program, the Center for Advanced Studies at Wheeler High School, and served as its director until 2008.  During this time he received a PhD in Educational Leadership. Because of his experience and expertise in program and curriculum development, Dr. Farmer was contracted on special assignment by the Georgia Department of Education to help launch the state’s STEM Education initiative. He chaired a statewide committee of educational, business, military, and industry leaders charged with developing Georgia’s first STEM action plan.  Upon completion of this project, Gregg returned to the classroom where he taught all levels of high school history while researching, developing, and field testing new innovative curriculum methodologies.  In 2015, Gregg and his son Andrew, a professional curriculum developer and trainer himself, co-founded History on Demand. Gregg retired from teaching in June 2016, after 27 years. Gregg is now dedicated to developing and providing quality and innovative resources for history educators, and history enthusiasts alike.  

            Andrew Farmer has worked in product development and as a corporate trainer since 2012. He has developed training modules and curriculum for many Fortune 500 companies and other prominent organizations including Coca-Cola, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, U.S. Steel, and Liberty Mutual. He also developed the security training for Kroger grocery stores nationwide. Andrew also has years of experience in system administration and customer service. While serving as a training and development specialist, Andrew and his team have won numerous national and international awards including the 2015 ASTD Best Award which recognizes only the most elite training organizations internationally. Andrew previously worked in the field of psychology as an intern counselor.  Andrew has a bachelor of science degree in psychology and Christian counseling. Previously, he has served as a counseling intern.  Andrew was inducted into the International Honor Society in Psychology- Psi Chi in 2011 which is a lifetime award. Andrew has also served on the Board of Directors for Penfield Fellowship and Alumni Association.
